Just today I purchased an iMac with OS X 10.6 (not sure if it's a more recent update or not), tried to plug in my trusty USB wireless adapter (an Encore that registers as a Ralink RT2870 so I've been successfully using the appropriate Ralink driver on my Quicksilver and Powerbook, both running OS 10.4.11), and nothing happened. Method 1:

Uncheck Allow computer to turn off this device to save power option.

a.Open device manager.

c. Locate and highlight your wireless adapter

e. On menu click on Power Management

f. Uncheck where it is Allow computer to turn off this device to save power

g. Click OKRealtek hd audio manager driver windows xp.

If the steps in method 1 do not work, then please follow the steps mentioned under method 2.
